Here’s the honest answer. You can safely inspect your own windows. Check the caulk line, look for daylight around the frame, feel for drafts on a windy day. If the caulk is cracked, you can scrape it and recaulk with an exterior-grade polyurethane sealant rated for UV exposure. That’s a weekend job that costs $12 a tube.

But if the window itself is out of square, the rough opening has rot, the flashing failed, or you’re replacing the entire unit, call us.
